Registration of Information
De Hvide Svaner Camping registers your name, address, email, and other information provided during the booking process in its customer database. The information is not shared, but DHS retains the registration for 5 years.
DHS uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to protect the information you provide.
When paying by credit card, the registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet. DHS reserves the right for price errors in online bookings.
Complaint Handling
If, for any reason, you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase and have not received an error message from the system, you can contact the address or phone number below. Complaints regarding the booking process, the booking itself, or the product (the stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered it through a regular review of your contract. You can complain either in writing or verbally. The right to complain under the Sale of Goods Act §83, section 1 expires one year after receipt of the product (the stay), unless otherwise agreed.
When DHS receives your complaint about a product, it will be processed as soon as possible. DHS will determine whether the received product should be refunded, exchanged, or if a price reduction should be given.

Personal information provided in connection with booking a stay at DHS will be used for:
- Follow-up on bookings
- Processing potential complaints
- Customer support
Data we store in relation to bookings:
- Name, including any partner and children (especially for seasonal pitches)
- Adresse
- Postal code and city
- Phone number
- Email address
- Information about additional services purchased
- Year of guest tests? (Seasonal guests)
- Fire alarm yes/no – Gas alarm yes/no (Seasonal guests)
Data collected in our booking system will be stored for 5 years in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act, starting from the end of the financial year to which the registration pertains.
DHS does NOT disclose whether a named person is at DHS, except in inquiries from authorities.
Newsletters
Regarding newsletters:
Only the email address is collected.
You will always be able to unsubscribe from the newsletter list via a link in every newsletter.
Since you can always unsubscribe, the list will not be deleted by DHS.
SMS service
Regarding service SMS messages from DHS:
Only the phone number is collected.
You sign up and unsubscribe yourself (DHS recommends doing this in connection with arrival and departure).
At the end of the year, the list of those subscribed to the SMS service will be deleted.
Data collected may be used by DHS for its own marketing/statistics.
