Kayak course or IPP-2

"Kayak course" or IPP-2 is an eight-hour continuation of the introductory course, with the aim of imparting to the student the technical skills that are typically assumed when renting sea kayaks or "release" in various clubs.
It covers basic skills on flat water, incl. self and mate rescue.
The student is introduced to edging the kayak and various rescue exercises at De Hvide Svaners boat bridge prior to a day trip (12-13 km) around Gavnø. On the trip, the entire curriculum is refreshed. Remember the lunch package.
Meeting time & place: 9:00 am at the boat bridge at the Hvide Svaner Camping (Karrebækvej 741).
Prerequisites: previous participation in introductory course or equivalent experience incl. Safe swimming (min. 300 m)
Duration: approx. 8 hours. Kl. 9:00 - 17:00
Price: Dkk 700, -
Incl .: kayak, skirt, paddle, & safety equipment
Participant number: carried out at min 4 and max. 8 participants .. Young people under 18 according to an adult.
Clothing: artificial fabric and headgear.
Bring in waterproof bags: lunch lunch package, towel and changing clothes, fast carbohydrates (eg biscuits and sweets). 1ltr.vand. & sunscreen.
